I’m Becky

Hello! I’m a girl living in the Pacific Northwest who loves all things that sparkle. Crafting and DIY projects have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Creativity runs in my family, with talents ranging from hand-sewn clothing and décor to intricate leatherworks, oil paintings, and even horseshoe creations.

One of my fondest childhood memories is being mesmerized by the “chow wagon” my grandpa crafted from the bed of an old pickup truck. It was neat, tidy, and ready for the next camping trip. Perhaps that’s where my love of organizing began. I’ve always had a desire to make things “look good.” As an adult, I’ve enjoyed transforming our homes into spaces that truly embrace and reflect us, whether we were renting or owning.

Now that my girls are grown and I find myself in a new era of life, I can focus even more on creating. Some of you might remember my old blog, The Domestic Briefcase, from what feels like a hundred million years ago! My blogging style has evolved since then; I no longer feel the need to share every little detail about my life. I doubt you’re interested in knowing what I had for breakfast or that I stopped by the thrift store on my way home. Instead, I hope this blog will be a place you visit often to see my projects and creations.

Thank you for stopping by, and I look forward to sharing this journey with you!
